In Haiti, many children never get to go to school. They never get to realize their dreams. It’s very difficult when you are just trying to survive.
Because of a sponsor, I got to go to the Mission of Hope school. They have me a very good education and prepared me for college.
I’m a National Laureate. This means that I scored one of the highest scores in the country on the government exam when I graduated.
Now I’m in college. This has been a dream for me for so long. School is very important for me. God is helping me learn so much, and I share my faith with other students I meet. I study International Relations and Diplomacy, and I am at the top of my class.
My teachers believe that I can do something great with my life. I believe that too. I want to play a role in helping Haiti have better relationships with other countries. Haiti needs good leaders at the highest levels of the State. I want to be a good leader for my country.
I’m very grateful for the opportunity that my sponsor gave me to reach my potential. No matter where you are from, you can make a difference in the world. I want to do that with my life.
